Pep Boys

I had to go in for a tire repair. Although the wait was longer than I’d like, I understood it was because of the lack of staff. However, Scott helped me out a lot - he explained why my tire needed to replaced, helped me get the best price, etc. Very kind staff and hope the wait times ease up - solved my issue!

EDIT!! Although they were very polite. They did not fix the issue… my mom had bring her car back up there because it was still stalling after they “fixed” the steering angle sensor for $1500! Then she waited for 3 days with zero communication from pep boys. We had to call and get updates daily. Only to have it returned with still the same problem! Now they have told her it would be better to fin…

While traveling through Jacksonville, FL, I had a nail ruin one of my tires. The staff was friendly, courteous and compassionate with the news that 2 of the 4 tires (which included the tire with the nail) needed to be replaced. I ended up replacing all 4 tires. They were very efficient and got me back on the road in less than 1.5 hours. Would highly recommend the Pep Boys on Dunn Ave.

I had the most amazing experience this morning coming in for oil change and alignment with Mr. James H. He made my entire experience very memorable from our first encounter of me walking in, to the end of my service. Mr. James kept me informed during the entire process and just made me feel really comfortable and involved in making sure we got everything right for my Audi to get back on the road. …

The manager Charlene is amazing! She truly embodies the type of manager I would want to service me. Not only was the facility short staffed, both at the front counter and on mechanics, but she had customers lined up at the door.
