I have been to these offices on a number of occasions (4-6) over the last couple years. I have also consulted with Archives through emails. Every time, I have been treated fairly and with utmost respect even though I am a beginner in these matters. Archives and Historical (Brooks, Saquira, Alan, Kora..) have been great and incredibly responsive above and beyond. Tamiko, Cindy Rule at Zoning, Lucille everyone has been tremendously patient, responsive and helpful. Vernon Shelton, absolutely the most helpful public servant I have ever encountered. I came into their office this week and I was lucky enough to get lissandra to help me. She not only answered all my questions but she went out of her way to help me. I could not have been happier with their customer service.

Honestly if i could give these people 0 stars i would. Tony at the front desk rudest man i have encountered like why be so rude to people? I was trying to schedule an inspection and he set it for a day without asking me if that day worked so when i asked “could we set it for Tuesday?” He said “i asked you if monday worked” i said “ sir you didnt ask me” and he was like “ well i will cancel it and you can schedule it” i was like” please dont cancel it sir” and he was just so ready to cancel the inspection i had to beg him not to cancel it and he proceded to be so rude saying that he has asked me if monday was a good day and saying that i could schedule it myself then proceded to tell me i nee…

Employees are rude on the phone. They interrupt and won’t let you explain. And then they blind transfer you to someone else and you get their voicemail. And no one will call you back. I’ve called three times over the last week and no one would call me back. Why doesn’t the city care about the poor experience that citizens have to suffer dealing with them? Why do I have to pay them hundreds of dollars to be treated like dirt?
