Bargain Auto & Air

If someone is rude on the phone, you should probably not give them the benefit of the doubt. But I had went to Mr. Bert twice in years past and he was amazing! I sent anyone who would listen to me to him! This guy is NOT him! And he works very differently! I thought it was my compressor. He said, “We can take a look.” $175 later—“yup… it’s your compressor.” Then quoted me something, I couldn’t afford, to fix it. “I’ll take $100 off the quote if you’ll use me.” I understand the lights have to stay on. But this is not at all how the real Mr Bert did business. Ever. I should’ve known immediately that it was under new management with the phone call alone. Shame on me. Shame on “the new Bert”. Al…

This is not the same owner as Bert’s Auto Air. The guy who owns it now told me he was the son of Bert the original owner. He is not. He clearly does not know what he is doing and guesses on what could be an issue with your AC unit while charging you for parts that don’t even need to be replaced. I almost walked away when he lied about being the son of the original owner and wish I would have. Now my AC still isn’t fixed and I have been overcharged twice for absolutely nothing. The second time was the last straw. My vehicle still wasn’t fixed and the 3 employees he has working for him were all in the office smoking weed while I was paying. So if you want to give your money away and get nothin…

I highly recommend Bert’s Auto Air! He was able to take my car in the day I called and had the air repaired quickly and for a very fair price. He was kind and courteous and made sure I was comfortable while I waited. Bert is the epitome of an honest, hard-working, and thoughtful small business owner. I am happy to send my friends and family to him, and he will be my go-to local business for any future car air conditioning needs.

I just moved to Jacksonville and luckily Bert was recommended to me by a coworker. I am so grateful I found him! He fixed my car issues immediately, and went above and beyond To provide superb customer service. Very fair price and honest- a trait you don’t often find in the car industry. THANK YOU BERT!

This business 5 star reviews are real and should be your go-to place for any car air conditioning issues. Bert the owner is so down to earth and honest. I had my wife stop by after suspecting her car a/c compressor had failed. Bert confirmed my findings and gave me the opportunity to purchase my own parts and pay his very fair labor fee. It felt good and rare to visit a place not trying to ripe you off! Thanks for being an honest businessman and excellent technician Bert.
