They are only getting the 1 star because google will not allow you to submit 0 stars. Do not be fooled by the reviews on here. The customer service is absolutely the worst I have experienced. Especially in times where people are selective on where they will spend money. The lady who answers the phone, I'm assuming Tom's wife is a detriment to his business. I heard so many great things about Tom but unfortunately his other half has ruined the experience altogether. Do not waste your time. I will make it my business to make sure I refer no one here ever.

Herndons is the best Mercedes shop in Northeast Florida! They are super professional and upfront. Tom is a master of his trade and I Trust him more than I trust the Mercedes Benz dealers in town. I hope I never have to find another mechanic because Herndons is, The best!

Herndon's Automotive is the best Mercedes Benz maintenance and repair shop in this area. Tom was very transparent, which you always don't get from the dealership, and he has the very best interest of the owner. I only wish he worked on other manufacturers. I highly recommend them if you have a Mercedes Benz.

I stopped today to see Tom the owner mechanic in the same time. i wanted to show him the noise coming from mu timing belt pulley. he stepped out side and told me leave the car here or have an appointment so i can check it and find out the prize. i said i cant leave the car since i don't have a ride. he stated ok call us set up an appointment speaking to me with attitude. Tom was very disrespectful. i was there at the shop with him and he want me to call lol that makes no sense. he might be a great mechanic but important to survive in the business is costumer service the way you respect and treat your costumers. him and his wife have no clue. i will never go there is plenty of Merc…

Tom and his wife are truly a class act. I’m facing a very expensive repair (2014 GLK) and they both advised me on my options as if they were my family. Tom has always been straightforward and fair and his pricing is competitive. He stands by his work. He always educated me on the how and why of my repairs and made sure I understand and felt comfortable with the plan. I really appreciate his candor and his passion for cars and people.
